Seismic Earthquake of extent 3.2 strikes Noida, Earthquakes felt across Delhi-NCR
A Earthquake estimating
3.2 on the Richter scale hit close Noida in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday
night.
Delhi's neighboring
Noida was hit by a low-force seismic Earthquake on Wednesday night. The Earthquakes
were felt across Delhi, Faridabad and Gurugram.
The seismic Earthquake
estimating 3.2 on the Richter scale hit the zone at 10:42 pm on Wednesday. As
indicated by the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the focal point of the Earthquake
was 19 kilometer South-East of Noida, which is a piece of the national capital
district.
The profundity of the
seismic Earthquake was 3.8 kilometers, the NCS information said.
There were no prompt
reports of death toll or property in the district.
The shudder comes simply
four days after two consecutive seismic Earthquakes hit another city in Delhi's
neighborhood. Haryana's Rohtak was hit by the main Earthquake, a medium force
one of 4.5 greatness, at 9.08 pm on May 29 at a profundity of 5 km.
The subsequent shake was
of lower force of size 2.9 and happened at a similar area at 10 pm around the
same time, the NCS said. Rohtak is about 60 km from Delhi.
The zones around Delhi
are known for announcing low-power seismic Earthquakes.
Since April 12, Delhi
alone has revealed four low-force shakes - April 12 (3.5), April 13 (2.7), May
10 (3.4) and May 15 (2.2).
